Sponsors

1. Find the blocks on the block map and choose Sponsor blocks: one block, or a run of them.
2. Pay at least the minimum for those blocks: a whole number of dollars per block, more for later blocks, which are bigger and take longer to prove. Rented GPU prices change all the time, so the minimum is set at about twice what proving them is expected to cost. You can give more.
3. Once at least the minimum has arrived, your name and the amount appear in the table above and on the blocks, and the blocks are lined up for proving.
4. They are proven, then folded into the proof of the whole chain like every other block.

When you sponsor, you get a private link. Keep it: it shows your sponsorship before the payment has arrived, and it tells yours apart from any other sponsorship with the same name. If less than the minimum arrives, no name is shown and the payment is kept as a donation to proving time.
